The presentation will outline the findings from the Master’s thesis entitled ‘Fall Protection and Height Rescue Concept for Work Involving a Risk of Falling, Based on the Fire Safety Concept Guideline’ and explain how the thesis came about. The thesis was written as a practical guide for drawing up height rescue concepts. To this end, a structural framework was developed, based on the Fire Safety Concept Guideline. Protection objectives are defined and risk assessments are carried out to facilitate implementation. Legal requirements and scientific findings are taken into account. The protection and height rescue concept will be presented and discussed using scenarios and examples.
