Crashbox! PPE and mountain sports equipment with varying degrees of wear and tear in the stress test

In a live demonstration with tearing tests on the ‘Crashbox’, the PETZL Technical Institute will shed light on typical questions relating to route construction and operational inspection in artificial climbing facilities.

Following the specified tests, there will be an opportunity to test the residual strength of material brought along - provided it can be installed in the ‘crash box’. Please contact us in advance so that we can carry out tests efficiently with the materials you bring with you.

Instructions for safe working at height. D-A-CH-S panel discussion

The D-A-CH-S expert group is an international working group of experts from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol whose aim is to standardise the regulations for fall protection at workplaces at height across all countries.

Reversibilities - On the (controlled) reversibility of pulley blocks and their significance in rope technology

The terms ‘reversible’ and ‘reversible’ have become widespread and established within rope technology, very similar to the concept of redundancy. In a way, these terms have developed a life of their own. This workshop will get to the bottom of this together.
