In tree care, fluid movements are crucial for working efficiently in the crown whilst minimising damage to the tree. To meet this requirement even more effectively, Petzl is expanding its range of mechanical ZIGZAG® Prusik pulleys in 2027:
The ZIGZAG® SHIFT is the new, openable mechanical Prusik pulley, which was put through its paces for the first time under real-world conditions a few weeks ago at the International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC) in the USA. It can be installed at any point along the rope. Designed for use on a single rope without any additional braking element, it can also be used just as flexibly when working on a double rope.
